Going overseas for holiday/backpacking? For work? For Internship? Feel free to contact some of our Youth Chapter members who are based overseas to find out more about the city that you are heading to or if you just want to know more fellow Hwa Chongians in the city.
Guangzhou, China
Huang Rongjia Rex (黄榕佳)
Contact:

Rex graduated from Hwa Chong in 2002. He is currently managing his own company‘s China branch office in Guangzhou. He welcomes all alumni to come to Guangzhou and be his guests.

Eugene Aw (胡家铭)
Contact:

Eugene graduated from Chinese High (2002), Hwa Chong (2004) and was part of the school’s water polo team . He is currently working in Tianjin at the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city. He is passionate about entreprenuership and looks forward to connect with like minded friends. He will be happy to meet with all Hwachongians who visit Beijing/Tianjin.

Teh Ling Huan (郑令欢)

Ling Huan is reading China law in Shanghai’s Fudan University. She graduated from Hwa Chong in 2008 and was a Student Councilor. She was previously from the Bi-Cultural Studies Program (BSP).

Tong Pui Ian (唐霈恩)
Contact:

Pui Ian graduated from Hwa Chong in 2009 and was an active member of the Canoeing Team. She is currently reading Global Business and Economics at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is excited to be able to meet and help fellow Hwa-Chongians who are visiting, studying or working in Hong Kong.

Leong Weishu (梁玮书)

Weishu graduated from Hwa Chong in 2005 and is currently a final year economics student in Cambridge University. He has also completed an internship with a global financial service in London. He will be more than happy to help any students or alumni planning to study or work in the UK.
Calvin Chua (蔡佑进)

Calvin graduated from Chinese High(2001) Hwa Chong (2003), and was an active member of the Track and Field Team. He has been working on projects of various scales with architectural firms in London, Shanghai and Singapore after graduating for Architectural Association in London. Calvin is happy to exchange ideas on cities, architecture and urban politics and provide insights to anyone who is interested to ‘live, work or play’ in London.

Troeung Hao (张万豪)

Troeung Hao is a Cambodian Chinese who had spent 7 years living in Singapore and 7 years living in the States. He graduated from The Chinese High School in 2002 and was one of the founding Members of the Students Union. He has now returned to Cambodia to be involved in his family business and he looks forward to catch up with Hwa Chongians who have plans to do business or visit Cambodia,

Toh Yean Lih

Yean Lih graduated from TCHS (2002), HCJC (2004). He was from St. John Ambulance Brigade and Hwa Chong Canoeing Team. Currently working in the palm oil industry, he is based in the Sumatra island of Indonesia, in cities Medan, Dumai and Pekan baru. (Yes, there are flights here and its not all forest, the volcanoes are also far away from the cities!) He looks forward to meet up with fellow hwachongians who are interested to visit Sumatra and would like to know more about the palm oil industry.
